We have many owners that are snowbirds from Florida and a large group of families with children. We have a long season from May until October. With charming air-conditioned bungalows and friendly neighbors, we’re a diverse community of individuals with a common goal: to spend the summer in a rustic, casual, fun-filled environment that offers activities for all, including the youngest Spring Lodgers, seniors, and active adults.

 

Incorporated as S.L. Cottages Inc. in the 1970s, Spring Lodge was originally a rental colony, saved from extinction by a group of far-sighted families who wanted to preserve this idyllic way of life, now, sadly, almost completely gone from Orange and Sullivan counties. Little by little, most of the bungalows were sold, and extensively renovated by happy vacationers. Most of the units now are two bedrooms, with many featuring large, screened-in porches, perfect for relaxation.

 

Our beautiful large pool was completely renovated and bustles on a warm, sunny day.

 

The hard-working Board of Directors has also preserved a cherished “bungalow” institution: Saturday night entertainment. With live music and an open bar, at no additional cost, Spring Lodgers still meet, drink, dance and nosh just as they did generations ago. Nowadays the clubhouse (we still call it the “casino”) is comfortably air conditioned.

 

And all of this can be yours for a surprisingly reasonably price! Maintenance is all-inclusive, with all utilities provided. Cable and internet are available. Some rentals are also available.
